“Magnesium Decreases Hyperactivity in ADHD Children” Research article by Helen Saul Case.

Be Healthy

  • Eat Organic Foods. By doing so, you will avoid a large list of chemicals in your food that can adversely affect your mental and physical health. Avoid genetically modified food. Avoid foods that have been sprayed with ‘Glyphosate’ or round up, which is very common now.
  • Drink lots of fresh water. (not adulterated with Chlorine or Fluoride, or anything else in the water supply)
  • Eat Healthy Oils / Fats. Great (Organic): Olive oil, Coconut oil, Butter, healthy animal fats. Bad: vegetable oils – especially Canola, as it’s typically GM and thus sprayed with round up. Margarine – better to eat plastic instead. Avoid any oil or food with hydrogenated oils or fats.
  • Get some exercise everyday.
  • Mediation – teach yourself to be calm, present, and relaxed. Transcendental mediation is a great. There several good apps you dowmload your phone/device , such as “Insight Timer” where you can select from thousands of meditations of varying lengths and types and save your favourites.
  • Processed Foods – Stay away! The less HI (human interference) with your food the better. Processed foods have a lot more to do with corporations making money than a concern for your wellbeing, thus they use the cheapest ingredients possible, and are typically laden with unhealthy oils, sugar, salt, and chemicals.
  • Sean Croxton: 5 Fake foods to avoid.
  • Practice Meditation. Become calm, centered and relaxed

To help prevent Cancer in your life: Broadly, get rid of all the toxins in your life, in these areas – water, food, personal care products, cleaning products.

Ketogenic Diet: There is an increasing amount of research and anecdotal reports on the health benefits of a Ketogenic diet. Typically on a western diet your body is running on sugar /glucose, however it is possible for your body to run an healthy fats. Human cells can run on glucose or fat (Ketones), however cancer cells can only run on glucose, thus when you body is fat adapted it can starve the cancer cells out.

Fasting and Intermittent Fasting are natural ways to stop diabetes in its tracks:

See “Sugars” section. Particularly the lecture by Proffessor Robert Lustig “Sugar: The Bitter Truth”. How sugar, particularly fructose leads to many metabolic diseases including diabetes.

Sugars. Negative effects of. Some times called “white poison”

  • Australian documentary: “That Sugar Film” Using himself as a ‘guinea pig’ Damon Gameau shows that calories are not calories. Similar calorie intake per day from healthy foods and fats compared to the ‘regular diet’ can have dramatically different effect on one’s health and weight.
  • Toxic Sugar Clip. Good overview of the health hazards of eating sugar.
  • Low fat / diet foods – typically have loads more sugar. For example, plain mayonnaise has around 2% sugar. The low fat version has 13% sugar, over 6 times more.
  • Professor Robert Lustig. His lecture “Sugar: The Bitter Truth” shows that sugar and in particular ‘fructose’ (50% of sugar) works like a poison in the body and is the main cause of many metabolic diseases, including hypertension. He shows that due to the way that fructose is processed by the liver, you will gain weight rapidly.
